Boruto Naruto Next Generations [tvdb4-321285] - Metadata issues #185

Hello there,

Recently thought of trying out the special tvdb4 to have seasons equal arcs. I've noticed Boruto has actual entries under tvdb4.mapping.xml so I figured why not.

Running both latest beta commits of the ASS (Absolute Series Scanner) and Hama.bundle.

Turns out nothing metadata-wise is loading, since the Boruto Naruto Next Generations [tvdb4-321285].agent-update.log is so small, here it is directly:

your logs show no crash but the title for the series is not updated, as a result the agent updates nothing... both anidb and tvdb loaded it... i named one folder the same locally and works for me so update to the version released at the same time you posted and report please...

Hello there,

Grabbed the latest of everything. Removed the folder, cleaned trash, cleaned bundles.

Then re-added the folder like so, with the episodes in there as normal: image

Now it downloaded the poster information but sorry to say it's still having issues with both episode title names and summaries: image

You could try deleting the cache. I think it’s located a few folders up from DataItems. That’s what I use when I want to refresh metadata.

Hello there,

Just removed the cache and refreshed the metadata but still the same outcome. Still called Episode X (where X is a number) and no summaries.

The update log lists the episodes as having a title and summary though, but for some reason it's not pushing through to the actual files.

@DJScias reproduced after changing language priority only. tvdb gave wrong language priority which made my code fail, included failsafe and shortened code. Please test new version and report, check title language is correct as per priority, works for me

Hello there,

After the latest commit I refreshed the metadata and all seems to be looking well.

Every season got its own poster automatically now and all episode titles and summaries are in order as well.

I think this means that the issue is fixed, thanks for that. I'm glad to see the active support you've given my issues and it's good to see more and more features are working great.

Issues impact everybody so it is important to solve. I did loads of changes lately to have proper title language selection and multi anidb XML management for multi season tvdb numbered series... Glad to see you use the tvdb mode which is unique to Hama. Will close that ticket now.
