HAMA not functioning anymore #309

I've enjoyed the struggle to learn the ins and outs of using HAMA with ASS and I'd like to believe I'm a level 8/10 master at this despites some quirky inconsistencies I can't make sense of sometimes, but, as of today after not adding a series for a couple of days (maybe 3-4) I notice the HAMA agent doesn't appear to be working any longer. I have changed nothing in that time and have been using this agent for some time on 3 different devices but now I get 'no results' from any 'match' requests and it doesn't match automatically any longer. Other agents appear to be still working like the default TVDB ones, but we all know this is better. Doesn't appear to be specific to any series. Even going back to already matched ones, it now shows no results as well

I have: -Stopped/restarted service and server -updated/reinstalled HAMA and ASS by removing old files and replacing with new. -restarted computer

I did see mention of something about AniDB denying requests in the common.py file update and presumed that updating would help as it appeared to be addressed but that didn't appear to help

Ever since updating, I've been getting this error, which crashes my server and brings down my network in the process.

I'm not 100% sure if this is a Hama.bundle issue, but considering nothing else runs on that server but Plex, my only plugin is Hama, and this only happens when Plex tries to update my library, it kinda has to be.

I have a bunch of series in my Plex directory that aren't organized properly, and as such Hama can't match any of them to series in AniDB, TVDB, etc. These series get logged to syslog so I could try removing them to see if that rectifies the issue.

systemd-resolved[506]: Server returned error NXDOMAIN, mitigating potential DNS
violation DVD-2018-0001, retrying transaction with reduced feature level UDP.

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS.

dve-2018-0001 not dvd, try the fix in there, issue is dns resolution issue not hama related https://askubuntu.com/questions/1058750/new-alert-keeps-showing-up-server-returned-error-nxdomain-mitigating-potential/1061210

Hmm, my powershell script (the one next to the ASS py file, not the one in the plug-ins/Hama.bundle folder) is running, finishing but not updating. Manually updated the Absolute Series Scanner.py and anime-titles.xml again. Didn't work when I just manually updated the Absolute Series Scanner.py, but didn't update the anime-titles.xml. Worked again as soon as I updated the anime-titles.xml.

Tried to reproduce and tvdb fails loading, no tvdb header used Looked and it was looking for "file" instead of "file downloaded", corrected, tested but impacted tvdb only. Updated master

Checked them anidb titles but mine updated without issues

I have no clue what logs you pasted to be honest. You have not confirmed you are running latest hama code, but that the scanner powershell updater failed and that you updated the scanner manually. Would need hama + custom series log showing the issue

Please update HAMA and test, and paste both hama and custom series log (C:\Users\Account\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Data\com.plexapp.agents.hama\DataItems_Logs\LibrarySeries.agent-update.log)
