I don't know if this is due to the update of youtube-dl (now at 2019.08.02) or PMS itself (now at Version 1.16.3.1402) but none of my youtube videos are pulling back their metadata since the beginning of this month when they were updated.

I see errors like this in my log: 2019-08-07 02:30:13,144 (3644) : ERROR (networking:219) - Error opening URL 'https://yt3.ggpht.com/FeZS4RVwq_3W0d0jYTbS8DbeSaU6K0vDoUQmkDwuuv9GF7OF7VZSWg7gMHMXsjdDU3UbQxfhfYw=w854-fcrop64=1,00000000ffffffff-k-c0xffffffff-no-nd-rj' 2019-08-07 02:30:13,151 (3644) : CRITICAL (core:574) - Exception in the update function of agent named 'YouTube', called with guid 'com.plexapp.agents.youtube://youtube|UC1o4Ct4ca7uzqohH0xdaZpQ|EthanGamer [NA]?lang=xn' (most recent call last): File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins-22929c8a2\Framework.bundle\Contents\Resources\Versions\2\Python\Framework\api\agentkit.py", line 1076, in _update agent.update(obj, media, lang, *kwargs) File "C:\Users\jeck1\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins\YouTube-Agent.bundle\Contents\Code__init.py", line 479, in update def update (self, metadata, media, lang, force ): Update (metadata, media, lang, force, False) File "C:\Users\jeck1\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins\YouTube-Agent.bundle\Contents\Code__init__.py", line 387, in Update if thumb and thumb not in metadata.banners: Log('[X] banners: {}'.format(thumb)); metadata.banners [thumb] = Proxy.Media(HTTP.Request(thumb).content, sort_order=1) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins-22929c8a2\Framework.bundle\Contents\Resources\Versions\2\Python\Framework\components\networking.py", line 265, in content return self.str() File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins-22929c8a2\Framework.bundle\Contents\Resources\Versions\2\Python\Framework\components\networking.py", line 243, in str__ self.load() File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins-22929c8a2\Framework.bundle\Contents\Resources\Versions\2\Python\Framework\components\networking.py", line 181, in load f = self._opener.open(req, timeout=self._timeout) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\python27.zip\urllib2.py", line 435, in open response = meth(req, response) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\python27.zip\urllib2.py", line 548, in http_response 'http', request, response, code, msg, hdrs) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\python27.zip\urllib2.py", line 473, in error return self._call_chain(args) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\python27.zip\urllib2.py", line 407, in _call_chain result = func(*args) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\python27.zip\urllib2.py", line 556, in http_error_default raise HTTPError(req.get_full_url(), code, msg, hdrs, fp) HTTPError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

I tried loading up one of the URL's from the error above and got this: { "error": { "errors": [ { "domain": "usageLimits", "reason": "dailyLimitExceeded", "message": "Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). Did you put your youtube login in settings? https://yt3.ggpht.com... Seriously ???? Are you running plex on windows and infected by spywares changing url on the fly???

Jeck1198 commented 4 years ago

No, I've had it set up for quite a while but have always ran with your stock instructions. This is a good question. I will run a few scans to check but I'm seeing mixed on that domain. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20140326051140AAC7FK9&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAG1kPU--gjJyEofPp6a5bL5Xy2KcjA3g_d1iHLjyFynBMJB27WIlfCTx2DIlRbk9Be7NdZx6AhsyceWSzdhVkyhkpwujSK0HQ2ri8xOXXlk2qoynuS_-JLs97Ets7TvzH5ip88H6SlVxBgHNUjPuU8U9J-j9gvRUlAZK1Hcke0S-

Thank you for the great agent and scanner. I'll close this issue and rebuild my Plex PC.

No need to panic, it's a URL owned by Google.
