Achievements?

Players getting achievements from kills/using something.

Example achievements from Call Of Duty:

• "Hammer Time" repair 200 windows.
• "Weapon Of Minor Destruction" use a Nuke to kill one zombie.
• "Big Brawler" kill 10 zombies while Insta-Kill is on.
• "Fertilizer Man" kill 200 zombies in one life.
• "Deadhead" kill 150 Zombies with headshots in one game.
• "Soul Survivor" getting to round 15 with no downs
• "40 Knives" kill 40 Zombies with the Bowie Knife
• "Wacker Packer" use any weapon to Pack-A-Punch.
• "The Might Of The Monkey" use the Monkey Bomb.
• "Perkaholics Anonymous" surviving to Round 20 without perks.
• "Pack Addict" upgrade 5 weapons in one life.
• "The Collector" buy all off-wall guns in a single game.
• "Space Race" Pack-a-Punch a weapon before round 8.
• "A Burst of Flavor" kill 10 zombies at once
• "Mad Without Power" reach round 10 before turning on the power.
• "I'm My Own Best Friend" Revive yourself.
• "Peeeerks" purchase every Perk in one game.

Whats the point of having achievements when they do nothing, its just more work for him.

While I like achievements and they're interesting to think up, I don't really see much of a point for a single gmod mode when it doesn't extend beyond the mode and doesn't unlock or provide a progression system (which I don't want there to be).

If there is some global Achievement addon/standard that other gamemodes can add to, I could look into that, but it'd be a side-thing if I just felt like it.
