6 years ago It's been suggested before, too many times to count. Every time it's been "no-" for some reason or another, I think primarily because it's a load of effort and Zet doesn't want to do it, but I could be wrong.
I believe Zet got the current CoD models/animations from WaW or BO, but he's planning on re-doing (or releasing) an update that uses BO3's models and animations.
Since you said earlier that you were okay with suggestions being made in the issues section I guess I'll post it here.
I was thinking that if you dealt damage to the legs you could turn the victim zombie into a crawler.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, where did you find the cod zombie animations/models?
