In all CoD zombies games, you can only get so much points from repairing barriers in one round.
The cap starts at 40 and increases by 50 every round up to a point cap of 490. Once the cap is hit, you can only ever get 490 points for repairing barriers every round. Note that carpenters are obviously exempt from this limit.
This prevents farming barriers for points, as a zombie will always break down a barrier if it is behind it.
