[QUESTION] What does "flag" do? #677

So when I was toying with this mod a little over 2 years ago, I found the setting "Flag" and I was wondering what it did. I have never used the setting til today. When I used it and I seen nothing. So what does it actually do?

stuff with the same flag will interact with each other, doors with the same flag will open if you bought one, Spawners with the same flag as a door won't work until you bought that door, etc.
