Currently going through most tools documenting their options and interfaces and controls. Anyone feel free to help create pages, but try to follow the template/style of the other Tool pages (if you make a tool page).
What should we do if we are trying to show how to do an action (i.e. Wall Buying, Pac-a - Punch (I already did that), etc.)?
@ScriptnLua Nothing. We don't need that beginner level of tutorials; everyone already knows how to press E on stuff. Controls for tools are listed on their tool page. General controls will come eventually (Undo, context menu, Q menu, noclip, knife, grenade 1 and 2 etc)
facepalm = true
@ScriptnLua Did I misunderstand you?
Can I get a link to the wiki, then? I can edit it in my free time, I feel like I have a good understanding of how most things work
@minin43 It's at the top, there's a tab called Wiki :)
@Zet0rz no, I meant in sudden realization xD
I was working on a page and it all got deleted :(
List of things todo on the wiki:
It seems like a lot, but it really isn't. :)
I tried writing on the Good Map Practices one, but Zetor deleted it :(
Well that's a darn shame. If you have google docs (Or any text editing software), you can write them there and just copy and paste so you have backup versions.
I tried writing on the Good Map Practices one, but Zetor deleted it :(
With good map practices, I had special tips and tricks in mind, not just a standard generic checklist of things to remember like playtest. Stuff like the double-door method, zombie shortcuts, special sort of things people won't otherwise realize is possible.
Just as a reminder/todo for anyone that wants to explain the tools and such.
