9 months ago I second this enhancement, but I have slightly different reasons. LanguageTool is not a lightweight program: it can take minutes to parse a large file. Because of this, in large files I want to turn on LT, run the check, turn it off and correct the mistakes. This way, I only have to run LT a few times, which is lowers the processing immensely.
Description
Not in every Writing Process I'm interested in spellchecking. (In the most cases I just want write, and no colored or unterlined words.) For disabling / enabling the spellchecking with languagetools.org I have to open the preferences and disable/enable the spellchecking and then restarting zettlr. This is not very handy.
Proposed Changes
In the Status Bar / Menu a Button for toggle on/off the spellchecking. The same as the readability toggle.
