Scanning QR Code does not work at all #1545

Describe the bug

Trying to scan a valid QR Code (triple checked with various different scanner apps) results in nothing being scanned at all.

The integrated QR Code scanner does not even attempt to scan anything. Literally nothing happens. It's like I have my camera open without any scanning functionality. No scan whatsoever is even attempted!

Reproduce

Try to import node configuration via integrated QR Code scanner.

Describe the bug Same exactly as theAkito. Just wanted to enter my device type, OS and version etc.

Reproduce Try to import node configuration via integrated QR Code scanner.

Zeus version v0.7.7

Node interface Alby

Device Pixel 7

Device operating system GrapheneOS

The LN-Connection QR code scanning doesn't work. Device S21 and S22 Zeus version V0,84 Node Umbrel (LND) System Android 14

with BitBanana it works....

A new camera has been released in v0.9.0. It would be great if you could test it out @TZocker @theAkito @frozear

Please note that the connection QR code isn't the same as the one for BitBanana. BitBanana uses GRPC and ZEUS uses REST.

A year back Zeus' scanner wasn't perfect, but we switched to another one that works extremely well.

When I look at the example QR in that thread you mentioned (https://community.umbrel.com/t/zeus-ln-mobile/7619/4) then I'm wondering if any scanner can scan that. What data is in that QR that makes it so dense? But I'm not using umbrel, so I don't know any details...

I think Umbrel may be unnecessarily encoding the cert in the QR, making it super dense
