Clean up the code #52

Over the years, this project has accumulated lots of hacks. In some places the code became a real jungle. We should get the requirements straight and up-to-date, so that we can throw out all obsolete code and make FK-enrolment slim and maintainable again.

[ ] Remove member before_save callback that sets current academic year
