https://github.com/bogdan/datagrid seems nice.

Actually, datagrid is way too complicated for this.

This can become a wishlist item. I am indeed planning to implement this for the event overview if the amount of events becomes too large.

Check. Postponing the remaining work to 2014-2015 then.
