Faranell still has post Wrategate dialog with Overseer Kraggosh #87

Hello, thanks for making this great mod, I'm really enjoying it so far. I have a few questions about how progression works, which I hope you can explain.

1) I noticed that NPC's in cities are mostly in their vanilla state, e.g. abominations in Undercity or appearance of Sylvanas, the orcs are gone, and so on. Is this all going to change later if I do the Wrathgate chain or is it going to stay that way? I ask this because GM mode doesn't show any hidden NPC's to me. 2) There are still a lot of details present from other expansions right from the start, from example every city is plagued with Eye of the Storm missionaries, which shouldn't be there. Faranell in the Apothecary still speaking to the Overseer Kraggosh who's not there, Dalaran crater already there... and so on. Is that how it supposed to work? Cause it seems really chaotic to me, like one thing is there and the other is not

Thank you for willing to try the module. Undercity will stay in this state throughout the game - I try to keep progression to always add new content, rather than changing or removing existing content. This helps keep consistency as much as possible between players, and prevents players from missing out on anything due to progressing beyond it.

Featured Battleground Emissaries were added in Vanilla, though additional emissaries were added later to the rotation as more battlegrounds were introduced. I have adjusted all emissaries to be the same levels as as the Vanilla emissaries so the new ones will not stand out to much. The Battleground rotation needs to be the same for all players regardless of progression, so we could not have players only see emissaries that match battlegrounds for their progression. PvP content in general has many conflicting paradigms with individual progression; in the future, I would like to add an option to only display PvP content to players who have completed the game's PvE progression - see https://github.com/ZhengPeiRu21/mod-individual-progression/issues/24.

As much as possible, I prefer to avoid editing client files, including the map files. There were relatively few changes to the map between Vanilla and Wotlk - the Dalaran crater is the probably the most noticeable. Things such as NPCs, along with their behavior, should all be reverted, however; if not, such as the situation was Faranell speaking to Overseer Kraggosh, that is a bug that should be fixed. Please file an issue if you notice any situations, and I will fix it appropriately. I will leave this issue open to track the Faranell issue specifically.

I hope that helps to answer your questions!

I see, well it's good to know that it was all intended that way, thanks for getting back to me. As for Faranell yes, still has his dialogues left. I'll make sure to report any leftovers such as this one. 1

By the way, I'd like to make a suggestion to assign model 28213 to Sylvanas, which was added in 3.0.3 and much more detailed, cause she reverted to her second model here
