If you wait for a player bot to stop and eat or drink, and then run away from it, the bot will stop following you when it's done.
Issuing a +follow strat does not correct the behavior. Logging off/on the bot will fix the issue.
Added that this happens with random bots as well, however I have not found a simple way to 'reset' them once they are stuck.
