I'm frequently getting this warning:

  MacVim[581:303] Metadata.framework [Error]: void
  _MDItemMarkAsUsedForPath(CFStringRef): was called with a NULL
  path

(I don't know how to reproduce the issue.)

I think this is a Mac specific problem. I don't think there is anything here, 
we can do for you.
