The SGPU_Update branch is functioning as a semi-stable development branch as a number of changes are being made to try to update this repo with Paul's development work. We are then planning to merge this branch into main.

[x] Have someone who uses SlaterGPU test that they can clone this repo, switch to this branch (SGPU_Update), run the installation commands, and successfully run their workflow using the resulting executable
[ ] Request from Paul: merge in hessian code that he gave to Vaibhav. My guess is that refers to this commit. It's on a branch after a few rks related commits and we probably aren't merging those into main yet so the commit we want may need to be cherry picked into SGPU_Update
