Both the old neuron activity project and the new RNA-seq analysis pipeline look interesting and promising. It looks like the switching of the project is still in process and there already is much progress made on the new RNA-seq design documentation.

I would love to know more about the detailed downstream analysis that would be included. Also, listing what existing tools will be used and what new functions will be implemented would be informative. Also, providing an environment requirement file would be helpful for users, a markdown with existing toools used or a YAML file for example.

Thanks for the advice, it helped a lot. Sincere sorry for the sudden change of the project. I definitely would update the environment requirement file for the user with markdown file or YAML files, and expand the details about the downstream analysis.
