Databases fail to load #3

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download 2.1 New Install file
2. Run install
3. Run program

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected program to load. Instead, the Loading Databases bar gets to 19%, then
I get an error saying "One or more databases failed to load. Attempting
recovery." Then "Failed to load recovery database. Attempting rollback to last
startup." Then "Database recovery failed entirely. Please contact customer
services." Then program closes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1. Win7 32bit

Please provide any additional information below.
Looks like a great program, and I'd love to be able to use it for my group.

Whoops, never mind. I should've read the other issues first.

Fix: Run as Administrator.

Well show me for the Windows newbie I am. Right click on the program, choose
run as administrator.

ok, all i had to do was change the compatibility properties of the
RPGXplorer.exe file to Windows XP SP2 and it works now.
