IE Crash: when user selects "web" option available in the top left portion of the maps page. #155

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open "http://maps.google.com/" webpage
2. IE crashes when user selects "Web" link available in the top left 
portion of the page.
3. Please look into the attached files for more information

Expected output: Google Web Search page should appear.
Actual output  : IE termination message appeared.

IE Version: 6.0.2900.xpsp_sp2_qfe.080814-1242  OS: WinXP-SP2

2. Perform a pace search.
3. Get directions to a specific destination.
4. change the destination place and get directions.
5. IE crashes when user selects "Web" link available in the top left 
portion of the page.
