Simple and not very important, but a bit annoying. Just to document, really.
Steps:
Open a hangouts chat in gmail.
Type some text, an emoticon (the image, not ascii (you can type and press space
to have it converted)) and more text, until the whole thing is two lines at
least (emoticon in first line).
Go to the second line and position your cursor before the emoticon the line
above.
Press the up arrow. The cursor will go to that line properly.
Now go back down and move until after the smile in the line before.
Press the up arrow. It will go to the end of the last line.
Expected:
Should go to the first line as it does when there is not emoticon.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) and Chrome 38.0.2125.111. Not sure how wide the problem is.
