A VPN provider marked as deprecated has old connection definitions that have not been updated.
If you're willing to provide the .ovpn and cert files needed to update the connection then raise an issue. If you're not willing or able to do this, then use the User Defined wizard with the .ovpn files that are interesting to you, as downloaded from your VPN provider.
Issues raised to fix deprecated VPN providers will be ignored unless they contain updated files.
