ICP "Show Neurons" Error (code 27012) - Hardware Controlled ICP Wallet (Ledger). #230

I am attempting to recover a neuron that is not linked to my ICP "Neuron Staking" tab at the moment. (I skipped the Hot Key by accident when staking my ICP).

On https://nns.ic0.app/wallet/..... when I take a look at my ledger controlled ICP wallet and press "Show Neurons" image

I get the following error. I still cannot access the ICP I tried to stake from my hardware wallet. The ICP was sent to an address though. I'm assuming this address is associated with a Neuron that is not linked to my ICP NNS Dapp.

"There was an error with the hardware wallet. A ledger error happened during signature. "Data is invalid : Unexpected value" (code 27012)." image

The NNS seems to show its a Ledger issue, and a friend suggested I throw this error here to see if you all are tracking an issue with the signing/data passage.

Yes, that seems like a scam to me as well.

Regarding the error that you and @boldermail mail have, could you tell me which version of the ICP App in the Ledger device do you have?

I would recommend that you share the reply with the problem in the Internet Comptuer Forum if you can. We track the user feedback there more often than in this repository. Ping me if you do so "lmuntaner".

I replied there, but I just learned that there is an issue in the NNS dapp with showing the neurons of a Hardware Wallet.

We are working on a fix.

If you can't wait, you can always use the Hardware Wallet CLI.

Yes, a fix was deployed to https://nns.ic0.app/ and another longer term fix is under development on the application of the Ledger device.

Appreciate the updates and the work from your team. I can see my Neurons and associated ICP on the NNS front end now. I see you opened up another ticket referencing this one (#231), I'll close this one.

My Ledger device is Nano S+ CB94. OS version 1.1.2. ICP app on my Ledger is the latest version (3.0.3)
