Login denied for user "" when not using ZM authentication #459

Platform & OS Version Android (multiple versions including 6.0.1)

The version of the app you are reporting: v1.2.38

Device details: Samsung Galaxy s7 / Amazon Kindle Fire

What is the nature of your issue Bug?

Details I have no authentication on my zoneminder server so I can browse to serverip/zm and see everything without entering username and password etc.

I have set up zmNinja to work with my server and have the setting "use ZM authentication" unchecked.

When I open the app, it says "authenitcating" and I get an entry iin my zm log

2017-02-18 20:31:13.031770 web_php 2687 WAR Login denied for user "" /usr/share/zoneminder/www/includes/functions.php 59

when I leave the app open, I get the above entries in the log every 15 minutes or so.

Everything is workng fine, it is just annoying that this clutters up the log as it is an amber alert and therfore the "Log" hyperlink on the home page is always amber (I have a tablet with zmninja running 24/7)

Is there a fix / workaround?

Thanks!

Thanks. How do I get the update? Will this come in the next Play Store update?

pliablepixels commented 7 years ago

Yes, it will be in the next update. You can sign up to the beta channel - I'll upload it there sooner. https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pliablepixels.zmninja_pro

Hi, I have just downloaded the updated app from the Play Store and the behaviour is still the same (still makes an entry in the log "login denied for user")

Argh.

pliablepixels commented 7 years ago

Can you email me a screen shot of your settings screen. Pliablepixels@gmail. You can mask your ip.

Are you on 1.2.38 or 39?

Screenshot sent, as well a screenshot from the zm log

Can you update ZM web/api/app/Controller/HostController.php with this one https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ZoneMinder/ZoneMinder/master/web/api/app/Controller/HostController.php

Then please restart zmNinja

steveearle86 commented 7 years ago

Tap on "menu" and let me know what you see at the very bottom of the menu - server time and local time

pliablepixels commented 7 years ago

Also, log in to ZM on a browser, open a new tab and do http://server/zm/api/host/getTimeZone.json

(replace protocol/path) and let me know what you see

pliablepixels commented 7 years ago

Oh no, wrong post. This was meant to go on another issue! sorry!
