I don't think the interruption should pause the timer. After all, a real
pomodoro kitchen
timer cannot be paused. According to the book, you have only to take note of
the
interruption and get back to the work as soon as possible. I think that if the
counter
doesn't pause, the pressure to get back as soon as possible increases.
If the interruption is long enough, according with the pomodoro technique, you
should
void completely the current pomodoro and rewind the timer to get a new one.

Countdown does not stop because a Pomodoro is indivisible. I think Pomodairo
should stay true to the Pomodoro technique, and not become just a regular
start-stop timer.

As posted by jldiaz and luc, the timer should not paused due to interruptions.
So works as designed.

Then what is the point of having a button for interruptions?

I happen to agree with wadun. Does pomodairo have a feature to void a pomodoro
that has already finished, when the interruption was long enough to carry over
past the end of the current pomodoro? If it does not, then you cannot refute a
feature while toting science you don't support.
