We need a genre/one-liner. #2

As I see it, we need to pick a one-liner description which needs at the very least a tech-level, and a mood. I propose that we pick the descriptor types and create a poll for each with results hidden, then take the top of each poll. We will almost certainly end up with something strange and exciting to roll with.

Let's start with ideas, what do folks want to see?

Proposal: "Superheros" exist but are extremely rare and persecuted by the powers that be. Their powers are generally much more small-scale, the ability to create a flame equivalent to a lighter, etc. There are some small cells of normal people who form a resistance and help hide/protect the powered people.

Tech-level: Modern? WW2-era?

Mood: This would be a darker, gritty, low-power world, maybe a modern tech level or near future.

Inspirations: Hints of V for Vendetta, Equilibrium (from the side of the resistance), and other settings where the protagonists have to move and operate in the shadows while dodging and/or thwarting Big Brother.

Proposal: Strange things are afoot in a far-future cyberpunk setting. The more augmented the person is, the less human they are; the less human they are the easier it is for some Cthulhu-type ancient terror to whisper in their ear.

Tech-level: High; cybernetic augmentations are not uncommon, even among the middle class

Mood: Mystery, dark, conspiracy?,

Inspirations: Bladerunner, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, I am Legend?

Proposal: We make multiple polls which do not show the current standings and take the top-voted idea off each one and let the the Gods of Chaos decide.

One poll for Moods, one poll for Tech Level, one for "Plot Twists" (superhumans, vampires, Cthulhu-like, etc and pick the top two?)

Proposal: Slightly less chaotic, we do the polls as above but do them in sequence so nothing is way too off the wall. We'll pick a Tech Level first, then decide on the Mood and Inspirations, then vote on the top couple of "Plot Twists"
