Layer compatibility isn't accurate #4

The layer.conf says that it is compatible with every release from sumo through to kirkstone.

However, canutils.bb has pre-honister override syntax:

This layer is not in fact compatible with honister onwards.

Actually, it is. It compiles as is for the kirkstone release.

But I will keep open this issue. One only knows.

You're using old override syntax, compiles != works correctly.

Ross,

I decided, from scarthgap YOCTO poky 5.0 release, to start tracking meta-socketcan as per YOCTO release. It is easier.

And, I also decided to "return" can-util to its original owner, meta-openembedded layer.
