Menus don't work propertly in R Studio #26

Clicking on something in the menu like "File" doesn't open the menu, but it gets a highlight as if it is open. And secondly, while the menu is "open", Alt-tab doesn't work neither you can move windows by dragging them on the decoration. R Studio has to be closed to regain Alt-tab and window moving capabilities.

Does the global menu widget work? or is it broken too?

Also, are you using wayland?

The global menu widget works, although there is a weird issue where it would enter the editing mode every time I click on it, I should probably report that too. This is on X.org, I haven't tried Wayland, it's not working well for me (yet).

I have a similar issue with both the Material Decoration LIM and with the Global Menu.

With the Global Menu, I'm able to click out of R Studio onto a different program, and then switch back to R Studio and it works again. I tried this same trick with Material Decoration and it did not seem to help.

However, what DID seem to help when using Material Decoration was switching my window decorations theme to something else and then switching it back to Material Decoration.
