Another nice addition to the applet would be the ability to set Show Desktop as the action it does.
Now this in itself isn't very interesting, because there are separate official applets just for that. However, if the multiple actions (middle click) proposal in my previous issue is implemented, this could allow setups where the primary left click action is a window overview like Present Windows or Parachute, and the middle click shows the desktop.
The 2 ways the desktop can be shown ('show desktop' and 'minimize all') could be added as options selectable from the dropdowns.
These 2 combined would, in my opinion, take the plasmoid to the next level.
