Thank u so much for bring HUD to Plasma 5.

An option to use krunner in place of rofi to be more native :)

Is there some moviment to make this happen? It would be very nice if this HUD make use of Krunner

This sounds like a KRunner feature request. Or kdeplasma-addons as it would be a "runner" plugin.

Plasma4 had https://github.com/KDE/appmenu-runner I think, but I don't believe it's been ported to Plasma5.
