Bringing the feature to default "Image" #6

Hi! I really like this plugin and I was wondering, could it be upstreamed to the default "Image" by adding a tickbox "[ ] Blur when no active window is found", so that it is more discoverable and enjoyed by more people? This could also remove the need to re-implement the gallery feature.

Hi! I tried to make the patch myself with the intention of posting the link here to make the whole process more straightforward. I had not explained this anywhere on the patch though, and it was not finished, so I'm afraid I gave the impression of stealing code from here; I'm sorry for this as it was not my intention.
