It might be useful to add in a bit about setting environment variables when you're in a virtual environment. I just found a stack overflow post about setting up persistent environment variables within a virtual environment and seems like the type of thing that I could come back to again and again.

Not sure if there is a better way of doing this, maybe @Zsailer knows? Maybe we could make a better way if there isn't since it's kind of clunky and seems a bit like low-hanging fruit?
