Is the training / evaluation data publicly available? #5

Hi CryoVesNet developers,

thanks for putting together this useful tool!

Is the training / evaluation data that was used for the network and the evaluations in the publication available online? We could not find any information on this either here in the repository or the biorxiv preprint.

Thank you for your interest in CryoVesNet and for reaching out!

Yes, the training and evaluation data used for CryoVesNet are intended to be made available online. We have recently approved the release of an entry in the EMPIAR database (EMPIAR-12195), which includes Cryo-electron tomograms of rat synaptosomes and synaptic vesicle segmentation. We look forward to EMPIAR making the dataset publicly accessible soon and are optimistic about the timely availability. Likewise, we will update the preprint soon with additional details.
