Has anyone looked into integrating moviepy with Opentimeline.io? It's a terrific cross-NLE python library for working with EDL, AAF, XML, etc. This is potentially out of the scope of moviepy, but I bet there's some way to connect the two in some powerful and useful ways.

Very interesting. I've got no objections to someone else investigating it and integrating it into MoviePy with a PR, but I don't intend to.
