Hi This is a very great projet and very good as i can see clearly the very basic of plugging a unit.. as using only 1 single lane. Very great work. If i may, i wonder.. was it 85ohms impedance match too ? And is having the 2 via made any change or so ?

Hi,

It's been a while since I made this board, and this was the first board I made with differential signals, but if I remember correctly the traces are indeed impedance matched correctly for the pcb stackup that was used to manufacture them at JLC. The vias shouldn't be much of an issue, as the pairs only go between the outer 2 layers which have the same properties. And in the end, this board has been tested working, so it gotta be good :D Are you planning to get some manufactured? I'm glad to hear this project is useful to someone, I hope it helps you.
