Hi Aaron, Thanks a lot for this highly useful post to me : My MacBook Pro was about to take off since months every time I turned on my VM before (catastrophic fan use) Now I found your blog and applied your fixes, all my troubles vanished. Greetings from France ! ;)

Thank you <3 I downgraded to Catalina os from Big sur. Because I rememmber VMWare was much faster on that with windows 10. But I think these changes should make a difference regardless of os. It made it bareable to write code without noticing any lag on visual studio.
