This has been developed on Solaris 10. I see no reason why it shouldn't work on 
Linux and 
OpenSolaris, but it should at least be tested in those environments.

If you have a Nagios installation running on Debian, it would be very helpful 
if you could get Molniya running 
and make notes of what you had to do that wasn't covered by the setup 
instructions, special allowances for the 
Debian-packaged Nagios install (if you use that), etc.

trunk checkouted today partially works under Debian Lenny. 
'Status' makesbot crash, calling hostnames only shows output on console, 
message is not sent to destination.
