My default select action for videos in Kodi’s settings is ‘show information’. Therefore, when I click a homescreen widget, the relevant movie/episode opens up in OpenInfo, where I then click ‘play’ which in turn opens up the player selection screen in OpenMeta.
However, if any of the widget items on the homescreen point to OpenMeta, the ONLY select action allowed is ‘play’ - forcing OpenMeta to try playing the item immediately, completely bypassing the OpenInfo screen.
