my OpenWB recently arrived, but I am still waiting for the electrician to install it - as well, my car will still need a few more month to arrive - so I can't test the integration with HomeAssistant atm.
But I would like to know, if the Integration is capable to provide information where the energy is comming from:
-> solar to vehicle
-> grid to vehicle
-> battery to vehicle
This could be interesting to combine the information into the energy dashboard from HomeAssistant, when this (finally) supports devices such as an electric car...
Right now, I think the only way to integrate the OpenWB into the Energy Dashboard is either as "Battery" - which will only charge from Solar - but never feed the house until vehicle to grid / vehicle to home will be possible in the future
Or it can be added as "single device" - which will only show the used energy - but in this case, I am not sure if we can see if it comes from the grid or the solar installation.
Sorry if this request does not make much sense... but atm, I can't even test anything :-(
