Japanese "Mario Story" ROM does not advance past logos #207

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just open Mario Story (J) [!].

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally, after the Nintendo/Intelligent Systems fade out, the curtains fade in
and the intro sequence starts. The curtains fade in, but the intro never
starts, and you can never advance to the title screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
EmuHawk 1.7.1.6944, on Windows 7.

Please provide any additional information below.
The ROM is a good dump, and it works properly on Nineteen64 and Project64.

Fix: Press start before the Nintendo Logo fades out or set the core type to
pure interpreter (Config->Cores->N64 Video Plugin Settings->Global)

Marking invalid since this is not BizHawk related, but a mupen64plus issue,
solvable by using settings exposed through BizHawk.
