How to add a blogroll to WordPress for a FeedLand user #3

  1. Start with the full list of feeds they subscribe to. We can narrow that later if necessary.
  2. Go to the user's feed list page. It's the second item in the first menu. Copy the url and save it in a note somewhere.
  3. Click on the white-on-orange XML icon to get the OPML version of the list on the page.
  4. That's the OPML url the Blogroll needs. Copy it and save it with the URL from step 2.
  5. Follow the instructions on the home page of this repo to configure your WordPress site to use the plugin. When setting it up, the url from step 2 is urlFeedlandViewBlogroll and the url from step 4 is urlBlogrollOpml.

That should do it.

PS: I like to use issues for these docs, at least to start, because it's so easy to comment here.

BTW, it might be possible to eliminate the complicated part of this, if the plugin code can know the username of the owner of the site we're running on. All we need to know is which FeedLand they're using, and that could just default to feedland.com.
