PGP pubkey is an idea for another field, since DEF CON uses it for staff
Some large conferences have allowed individuals to register their desire to be approach about specific subject matter, though I've heard of it being done via badge expression rather than in the profile. Wouldn't hurt to consider that though.
HOPE 2020 allowed people (anyone at all, not even restricted to speakers or even attendees) to submit a brief text, audio, or video saying hello to everyone, or talking about a project, or encouraging everyone to stay alive during COVID, etc. I found it to be an awesome concept; I don't know how many people participated but I would love for the concept to be made available to other events.
Avatars must also be supported. Perhaps even multiple photos per person, if they want.
Phonetic spelling / audio pronunciation of speaker names
HackerTracker currently has a concept of "Speakers", which are usually people, but may be groups of people. That's what I'm talking about when I say "person". The currently available fields (all single-valued) are Name, Title, Twitter Handle, Link, and Biography.
At DC28, it was requested by multiple individuals that speakers, goons, and any other event-related personnel that might appear in the app be permitted to optionally specify their preferred pronouns.
There are numerous individuals that have multiple affiliations worthy of mention in their profile; someone might want to mention that they're the founder of Conference Hacking Village, the CTO of JimBob's Tractors and InfoSec Consultancy, and Volunteer Front-Line Responder for ITDRC. That is essentially (though not strictly) impossible given the current single "Title" field. I've noticed that some other conference apps have our effective essence of "Title" named "Caption", but then have a different (single) field for Jobs/Titles. Improving on this experience would be beneficial to numerous speakers, particularly those that are high-profile.
Additionally, I think that the "Twitter Handle" and "Link" fields should be abolished in favor of a multi-valued "Links" construct. Mastodon has a nontrivial user base, as does Riot/Element, Keybase, Twitter, Facebook, etc., not to mention personal websites. We should permit speakers to provide their preferred links rather than asserting a preference for Twitter and a personal blog. Those may be the most common answers among infosec right now, but there's no guarantee it's going to stay that way for any given length of time.
