Is this project dead? #184

There has been no activity on this repository for 9 months. Just wanted to know if it has been abandoned?

It is useful to know as we would preferably want it in an active state if we are going to migrate to KGraphQL.

Thanks!

Hey @IceBlizz6 ,

If you are looking to support this library with Ktor 2.0, I made a comment and temporary fix until this library get revived.

Thanks @berserkore

It is unfortunate not having updates for quite a while. Therefore, I suggest anyone to fork this library at least to review and merge any incoming PRs. To be honest, I haven't found any better alternatives which come close to the simplicity and practicability of this library. I think it would be a waste to terminated this project for lack of support. Until we get further notice from the maintainer, exploring the forking path would not be a bad idea.

I like the idea of having someone fork the library. Afraid that i'm a bit too busy to do this myself, but i would invite anyone else to. With the maintainer gone for so long i'm not sure if it's worth waiting to see if he comes back.

I have also looked around and haven't really found any good alternatives either. I like this library, and already found a few things i would want to improve. If someone else forks this and it starts getting updates again then i can probably contribute a bit with pull requests.

I'm not very familiar with how github works but if anyone is able to reach the maintainer then maybe there is some way for him to promote other users into a role that allows them to accept and complete pull requests while he is gone.

Hi all. Sorry for being inactive for such a long time.

I will start being active in this community again and I have now opened GitHub discussions and opened a discussion about getting more maintainers on this project (https://github.com/aPureBase/KGraphQL/discussions/187).

We want to keep this repository active and grow our community :rocket:
