fails to maximize on Wayland #9

Open perkelix opened 2 years ago

When launching a gnome-session with Wayland, most windows don't auto-maximize as expected e.g. ailseriot and nautilus open to a size at 1/4 of the screen. When launching gnome-session with Xorg, all windows maximize as expected.

This is with GNOME 3.38 on Debian 11 (Bullseye).

I'm not having any problems with this extension on wayland on Ubuntu 23.10 and Gnome 45.2 (and did not have any issues on 23.04 and 44 either, and probably lower versions either). So maybe there is something specific to your system, or there was an issue in older gnome versions.
