Still no joy! #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. New EDP test of installer results in the same issues as before on D830
2. No Joy
3. No audio

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
For it to work but it does not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version with new installer

Question, why are previous versions (that work fairly well) not available?  It 
would be nice to have an older working version since the installer for the 
current version seems to still be broken and will not work on the D820 I am 
trying to use it for.  Also are there other alternatives to the EDP install 
that might work when the current one keeps backing up my Extra directory and 
erasing its contents?
