This is an important suggestion. As it stands now, my map is cluttered with
placemarks that aren't required on the opening map page. Being able to set
<Visibility> = 0 would be a great help!

Current actual behavior of <visibility> in Google Maps treatment of kml fils
does not match that stated in "KML Elements Supported in Google Maps"
documentation, which states:

<visibility> partially yes on <Folder> - child placemarks inherit their
visibility

But setting <visibility> to 0 for Document, Folder, & Placemark still results
in icons being displayed! So everyone has to view a map cluttered with
placemarks which to them are useless (those placemarks must be included since
they are important to a small minority)

I have failed to Overlay a KML file into webpage created including a google map
of a particular area.

I created a webpage by using dreamweaver, then I used the API of including a
google map on it. I succeed. Now I have different shapefiles (points)
represented in terms of geometric symbols and photos. I converted them to KML
files. The problem is I cant overlay them to the googlemap which is in the
webpage i created.

Please can any one help me
