Can you upload a screenshot of what is displayed ? Additionally it would be
helpful
to have a screenshot or better yet the source of the "Indexstatus" page of
Google
Desktop to recreate the issue. To upload the source for the indexstatus just
klick on
the Indexstatus link at the bottom of your Google Desktop search page, then
click
File -> Save as and save the webpage (only HTML) and upload that file. You may
also
send the file directly to me if you do not want it to be public.

I know what you mean. The gadget uses the page from Google Desktop to extract
the
information about the index size.
What does the index status display for you? Is it nothing at all or garbled text
instead of numbers ?

Ok, so how do i send this source code to you then?
it does display some numbers, but i guess you could have a look at the source
code.

When you create a comment you can attach files. You can create a screenshot by
pressing AltGr+Print on your keyboard and then paste the screenshot into any
image
application you like. Save the file and use the "Attach a file" link to add it
to
your comment.
The more important part would be the index status page so I can easily recreate
the
issue. Follow the instructions above and use the "Attach a file" link beneath
the
comment box to add it. Or just send the file by mail (add @gmail.com to my
username here)

Everyone having this issue, please download the latest version of the Index
Status
gadget. The error happens if your machine uses a numbering format different from
1.234,00 and 1,234.00 such as space as thousand delimiter or ' as thousand
delimiter.
Latest version is available at
