This gadget simply does not install on Google Desktop, I get an error:
Incorrect gadget packet format. It may be outdated, and no more supported, so
remove it
from the Google Desktop gadgets as long as it is not corrected with a new
correct
version.

The error message is a common bug of Google Desktop. You will have to check, if
the
gadget file is already in My Documents/My Google Gadgets and remove it from
there and
then reinstall. This is not a gadget issue.

Note: I'm using Google Chrome 4 (current beta) as the default browser, and
Google
Desktop 5.9.0911.03589-fr-pb (latest release) on Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit
version for
x86-64 processors, French version, official release), with all security updates
from
Microsoft.
But I feel that theses version info do not matter, as it clearly indicates that
the
downloaded Gadget package is simply broken or incorrectly built.

When computer changed to daylight savings time, the retro digital clock changed
in the wrong direction. Instead of advancing one hour, it went back one hour.
So, now it is two hour off the correct time!

I had to change the time zone to West Austrailian time from Eastern US in order
for the correct time to be displayed!
