Which gadget does this problem concern?

Gmail Icon
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. 1 Instance was working with google apps account
2. now if I click on the gadget I am taken to the log in page for my apps
account but no log in details are entered and I have to enter them manually
3.
...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to log in automatically, It will not display new messages
either (which is no surprise if it is not logging in). I have tried it
with a Gmail account and it works fine just not with the apps.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6 on XP

Which version of Google Desktop are you running and which language version
of Google Desktop is installed? (You can find the version by clicking the
downward arrow on top of your sidebar and clicking About...)

Google Desktop 5.9.0906.04286-en-GB-pb

Try entering your username and password again. I had the experience that Google
Desktop messes up the stored username/password information if it was encoded and
Google Desktop is updated.

I have done that, I have removed it and re-installed it I have even completely
uninstalled Google Desktop and all Gadgets and then re-installed it and I have
the
same issue. Today my icon is showing that I have 1 new email, which I don't and
it
still doesn't log in when I click on the icon. I really hope you can help as I
love
the gadget. Thanks

Ok, I fixed it by uninstalling google desktop completely and deleting all
registry
keys relating to it and gadgets. Then re-installed. All works now. Happy.
