Top gadget in side bar having resizable view causes combo-box problems

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the "ComboboxUneditable" SDK sample
2. Add the resizableattribute to the view (resizable="true")
3. Build and install the gadget
4. Move it to the top of the side bar
5. Attempt to pick item from the combo box

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that the item over which the mouse is hovering will be 
highlighted for selection. Actual output is that to select an item the mouse 
pointer must be below the next one.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Desktop 5.9.1005.12335-en-GB-pb
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
