Resizable gadgets shrinking

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a resizable gadget to the sidebar (namely eBay Auction Watch).
2. Expand its height.
3. Resize its width a bit.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Height should not change.
Height shrinks to around 60px.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Desktop 5.8.0809.08522-en-pb, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
